Cindy Simmons

Cindy Simmons is a wife and a Mommy to two little girls. An Atlanta gal by way of Nashville…originally a California girl, Cindy spent the last 12 years entertaining Atlanta with her radio show on STAR 94. She not only performed on her radio show with Lionel Richie and MC Hammer, but was the driving force behind introducing the country duo Big & Rich! Cindy has been seen hosting the Mommy Minute and co-hosting the news on 11Alive/WXIA, the NBC Atlanta affiliate. She currently serves on the Mom Panel for Chick-fil-A and the parent advisory board for WSB-TV/ABC-Atlanta. Cindy runs her own website called SurvivingMommy.com, where she writes about her life of being a wife, a mom and a five year Breast Cancer Survivor!

Surviving Mommy is about Cindy’s personal experiences in the Mommy world, relationships, parenting, products she loves, celebrity stuff, toys, travel, fashion, food and all sorts of other randomness that comes along with being a Mommy. Cindy’s Momma Jane (aka Ga-maw) lives with her family as well as Winchester, their 13 year old wiener dog. Cindy loves God, her family, her friends, Nutella, Disney, Taco Bell, the beach and all things French…although she is not French at all! 😉 Cindy spent most of her childhood with her family at Disneyland Resort in California and as an adult, can count Walt Disney World, Disneyland Paris (twice), Aulani, A Disney Resort and Spa in Hawaii and three magical Disney cruises in her family’s Disney repertoire!
