Carolyn Chandler was recently named one of Crain’s Chicago Business Tech 50. She’s been working in the field of User Experience Design for 14 years as a consultant in both strategic and detailed experience design. She’s also taught UX Design to those new to the field, at DePaul University, The Starter League and ADMCi. Recently Carolyn has been consulting and speaking on the topic of using game mechanics to engage and motivate players for purposes of business, health, and education. She is an avid developer of Chicago’s UX community, having helped launch Chicago's chapter of the Interaction Design Association (IxDA), and directed the Chicago edition of Hackathon for Social Good, an event in which programmers and designers donate time to work on projects that benefit Chicago nonprofit organizations.
